Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data is handled when you use safaridubai.org, and what changes when you load the booking widget or follow a partner link.
Who we are
Desert Safari Dubai is an independent travel information website. Contact for privacy questions: book@safaridubai.org.
What we do not collect
This website has no user accounts, no contact forms, no checkout and no payment pages. We do not ask for passport details or payment card data, and we do not run analytics or advertising pixels.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. We do not use it to identify visitors.
Booking widget
Some pages contain a booking widget from Tiqets, which loads automatically with the page. Your browser then connects to Tiqets servers, which receive technical data such as your IP address and browser information, and Tiqets may set or read cookies. Tiqets processes that data under its own privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Booking links
Booking links open the Tiqets website in a new tab and include parameters identifying this website as the referrer, so that bookings can be attributed to us. Once you are on Tiqets, any data you enter, including booking and payment details, is collected and processed by Tiqets and the operator, not by us. We may receive booking and commission reports from Tiqets for accounting purposes. We do not receive your payment details.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply and to correct content, and we delete correspondence when it is no longer needed for that purpose. Our email provider processes messages on our behalf.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, such as emails you have sent us. Contact us at the address above. For data held by Tiqets or an operator, contact them directly.
Changes
We will update this policy if we change how the website handles data, for example if we add analytics. Any such feature would be described here before it is used.
