What this website is

Desert Safari Dubai is an independent travel information website about desert safaris near Dubai. We explain how the main safari formats differ, compare specific packages side by side, and publish practical guides on timing, clothing, riding and pickup.

We are not a tour operator, a travel agent or a ticket seller. We do not run vehicles, camps or activities, and we do not take bookings or payments. When you choose a package, you book and pay on an external booking platform, and the experience is delivered by the operator named there.

Why we built it

Safari listings often look alike but differ in the details that matter on the day: whether a quad ride is included or extra, how long it lasts, which areas pickup covers, whether "morning" means sunrise, and whether "private" means a private car or a private camp. We wanted one place that separates those details clearly and marks what is uncertain.

How we choose what to cover

We focus on packages with a clear product listing and a distinct purpose for travellers: an all-in-one evening, a shorter morning trip, an included quad ride, a premium camp. We compare them on:

• Inclusions: what the price covers and what costs extra.
• Pickup: which areas are covered and how clearly the listing describes them.
• Duration: the total time from pickup to return.

Where a listing is unclear or contradicts itself, we say so rather than choosing the more attractive reading. We do not rank packages by sales, because no reliable public sales data exists.
