Desert drive
The drive out of the city takes you to a desert area where vehicles stop before going into the dunes.
Activities

Return

Pickup and Desert Locations
There is no single desert safari address in Dubai. Operators use different desert areas and camps outside the city, and most packages start with a pickup rather than a meeting point at the dunes. Your voucher or operator message tells you where and when to be ready.
Pickup coverage is the detail that most often catches travellers out. Many packages collect guests from hotels and residences inside a defined part of Dubai. Some listings mention Sharjah or Ajman as well, and some charge extra or use a meeting point for outlying areas.

Safaris branded with other place names, such as trips into other emirates or the mountains, are different products with different travel times. We do not present them as standard Dubai dune safaris.
